Unlike the industry we work in, Mosh’s mission hasn’t changed much since the company was established in 2009 by Jon, Jeremy and Julian. Founded as an MBA project, Mosh wants to raise the social media literacy of New Zealand organisations to help them get the biggest possible return on investment. No old-fashioned, shouty, forced-upon-you advertising here. Social media success is about authenticity, and so are we. We want to help businesses deliver interesting, relevant and useful information to engaged and willing audiences.

Jon Randles

Head of Talking

Jon has a degree in English Literature and Classical Studies, has been a business banking manager and run a language school in Japan. His business card says his role is Head of Talking, and he loves presenting at conferences and running workshops on the subject. You can’t shut him up! Jon looks after the sales side of the business and ensures the team is humming. He’s a mad keen Liverpool Football Club supporter so it’s best to check the scores before engaging with him on a Monday morning.

Jeremy Marks

Managing Director

Jeremy studied and practiced engineering in Melbourne before coming home to New Zealand to do an MBA. It was his final project Social Media For Business from which the idea for Mosh was born. He’s a formidable strategist and skilled at ensuring our creative juices are continually aligned with our clients’ business objectives and budgets, as well as running our back office. Jeremy isn’t generally client facing but has strong views on how organisations should be using social media so if you’d like to discuss this topic, or the Whitianga Scallop Festival, then reach out. Especially if it’s about scallops.

Molly Overgaag

Account Manager

After graduating with a degree in Sustainable Business from the University of Redlands in California, Molly travelled the world putting her degree to use, before diving head first into the world of social media. Her can-do attitude, positive energy, and enthusiasm for work can be hard on the rest of the team at 9am on a Monday morning, but it rubs off and the office is  a better place with Molly in it.

Tom Middleton

Art Director

After spending seven years in cold and windy Wellington, Tom decided to follow the masses and migrate to the sunny pastures of Auckland to pursue his ventures in Graphic Design. Being a visual and creative kid, Tom works on everything from creating social campaigns to making videos. In the weekends, you’ll find Tom exploring nature, along with new bars and restaurants. Tom has a unique approach to work and pushes the boundaries of what can be done on social platforms. He also has a relationship with Behemoth Brewing Company which helps keep our thirst at bay.

Oli Garside

Social Media Manager

Oli started his working life in the travel and tourism industry and soon carved a niche for himself early on in the social media onslaught, creating Facebook channels as a direct communications platform with his agents. He soon saw the light and decided to pursue a career in social media full time. Building his skills with various roles including community manager for Samsung NZ, Oli came knocking on our door. A bit of a wanderer, Oli comes to us via Bahrain and Hong Kong, and many other points in between. When he’s not on Facebook he’s on the water pursuing his other passions, dragon boating and outrigger canoeing.
