When RJ’s Confectionery came to us with the launch of their new Fabulicious Sherbert Fizz Crunch Cola, they had a clear vision: they wanted this exciting new product to make waves across social media platforms and drive sales nationwide. Our proposal was straightforward—incorporate the product into our quarterly photoshoot, promote the launch on social media, and run ad campaigns to maximise visibility.

We took this brief and transformed it into a vibrant, multi-faceted campaign that captured the essence of the product and resonated with audiences across New Zealand.

What We Did:

Strategy First.

Our approach began with understanding the product and the context of its launch. The Fabulicious Sherbert Fizz Crunch Cola is all about delivering a burst of refreshing cola flavour with a fizzy, crunchy twist. However, launching a product like this in the middle of a New Zealand winter presented a unique challenge. We needed to evoke the feeling of summer—refreshing, fun, and exciting—while still staying grounded in the current season. We also wanted to inject that element of fun seen across all of RJ’s branding.

Videography and Production

With the concept in mind, we began the creative process by building a detailed mood board, drawing inspiration from the vibes of Summer, old-school claw machines you can find at the seaside and the classic, beloved beverage. Our goal was to create eye-catching visuals that communicated the unique attributes of the product and RJ’s brand in a fun, relevant, and engaging way.

We curated a final shot list, detailing exactly how we wanted each shot to look, but with enough flexibility to tweak things on the day. The entire production process, from planning to execution, was completed within a few days, ensuring that we were ready to roll out content swiftly.

The outputs were robust: 1 TikTok, 2 IG reels, 2 influencer videos, and 5 static images—all tailored to highlight the product’s key features and appeal.

So How Was This Used on Social Media?

With the content in hand, our next step was to get the content live! Our primary goals were to generate product awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately, boost sales.

For Meta, we focused on getting the product in front of as many eyes as possible, boosting posts to amplify reach and engagement. On TikTok, we teamed up with influencers Jack Ansett and ItsKatma, who created authentic, relatable content that sparked conversation and connection. Their videos really resonated with followers, driving interest and bringing the community together around RJ’s Fabulicious Sherbert Fizz Crunch Cola.

This campaign perfectly captured the fun and vibrant spirit of Summer, delivering the product to audiences all over New Zealand. With a blend of smart strategy, creative content, and targeted social media, we didn’t just launch the product—we made sure people experienced it.
