Blog: Let’s Talk Influencer Marketing
If you’ve spent any time online, you’ve seen the power of influencer marketing. Brands partner with familiar faces to showcase products in a way that feels real, relatable, and game-changing! And it works. In today’s social media jungle, influencers can boost your brand and get people talking. But is it the right move for you? 🤔
We’re unpacking the hype, the strategy, and how to actually make it work in our blog HERE 🚀

Rearrange, Resize, and Revamp with the New Instagram Grid Update
After Instagram’s grid update earlier this year, changing the ratio from 1:1 to 4:5, even more changes are in the works! Instagram is testing full grid editing, allowing you to customise thumbnails and even reorder your entire grid. This is all for ‘creator control’, giving users control over their profile look 📲
But wait, there’s more! Instagram is also testing moving the highlights circles into a new tab within your profile. Highlights will be moved directly to your grid in a tab next to Reels. Instagram is also testing the ability to bypass the feed entirely, being able to post directly to your grid instead.
These updates could change the course of Instagram posting and use! Stay ahead of the game, and keep an eye out for when these updates go live! If you want to keep up your knowledge in the meantime, click here for more information! 🤓🤝

The AI Search Engine Shaking Things Up
Move over, ChatGPT! DeepSeek is here to take the crown! 👑
DeepSeek is a free AI chatbot much like ChatGPT, but it is supposedly much more efficient, providing a competitor to watch out for. DeepSeek also uses less memory while running smoother. With a 90% accuracy rate for mathematical problems, DeepSeek is already outrunning competitor chatbots. While ChatGPT provides stronger capabilities in understanding context, DeepSeek is winning the race for its ability to solve technical problems.
Following the rise of DeepSeek, it quickly became the most downloaded app on Apple’s App Store globally at the end of January. But not everyone is loving DeepSeek’s rise. Australia has banned DeepSeek on all Government devices due to security risks. Other countries are looking to follow suit, like South Korea, Ireland, and France, but haven’t made moves yet.
ChatGPT’s response to this was to release a new tool called “deep research”, designed to scan information and generate comprehensive reports in minutes. This tool is aimed at working professionals to combat the competition of DeepSeek.
DeepSeek has now retaliated against ChatGPT by accelerating the launch of their R2 model, which was meant to be released in May. Deepseek says that this new model will be better at coding and reasoning in other languages. What will ChatGPT retaliate respond with? I guess we will see in the next newsletter 😉

The TikTokification of LinkedIn
TikTok’s influence continues with video content becoming popular on other platforms like LinkedIn. We’ve seen it on Instagram with the rise of Reels and on YouTube with the rise of YouTube Shorts… Now it’s LinkedIn’s turn. With a 36% increase in watch time over the past year, LinkedIn is rolling out a brand new video feature… basically, it’s LinkedIn’s version of TikTok’s ‘For You’ page.
Users will be able to swipe through video content on mobile and desktop in a full-screen, vertical video display for a seamless viewing experience. LinkedIn is also testing a larger video display on mobile and adding a mini-profile view for all of your video uploads.
These updates mean video posts are about to get a lot more powerful on LinkedIn with the new update helping video posts stand out and keep viewers engaged.
Keep an eye out!

Mosh Marketing Success Stories
Always On and Always Engaging: Mosh x COLORSTEEL®

January and February have been months of incremental improvements for COLORSTEEL® as we’ve been adjusting our tactics to prevent ad fatigue and reach untapped segments of our audience. A major challenge brands have on social media is spending efficiently when raising awareness and consideration. Without a structured system of delivery, we risk serving ads to the same portions of our audience, often back to back, with little thought of recall or retention!
Our new always-on approach uses automation to ensure our audience sees fresh, high-quality content at the right time, keeping frequency in check and reaching more people with the same amount of budget. No ad repeats or fatigue, just fresh, engaging ads that hit the mark every time 💪😎
A key part of this tactic, however, is ensuring that the creative is as effective as possible. Getting the delivery right is one thing, but we also need to make sure that there is passive and active engagement with our content. You might have heard us say this before, but good content is crucial to good social, and Instagram Reels have been standout performers here. On average, Instagram Reels deliver 50% more clicks and reduce the cost per view by 30%.
